Welcome to my site devoted to cats of the ginger variety!

This is my very own ginger cat, O.C. (Orange Cat).

Her name was originally Chloe because she was very sweet at first, but we soon learned that her personality was not at all condusive to a name like Chloe. We had just rescued another kitty from a shelter, so we were fresh out of cat names and landed on Orange Cat, or O.C. for short.

O.C. came from the local high school bleachers. We lived near the high school and used the track for walking, running, etc., and one evening we noticed a very friendly little kitty walking around. We fed her every night for two weeks and eventually brought her home to live with us. Our home has never been the same!

O.C. has a fondness for laying on things around the house, as you can see from the photos to the left.
